Through six weeks, Daniel Jones' renaissance with the Indianapolis Colts is one of the stories of the 2025 NFL season.
The 2019 first-round pick of the New York Giants has revitalised his career in Indianapolis, helping the Colts to a stunning 5-1 start.
After winning the starting quarterback job ahead of 2023 fourth overall pick Anthony Richardson, Jones has produced the best football of his career.
Indeed, Jones has completed 71.7 percent of his passes for 1,502 yards and eight touchdowns with three interceptions.
Jones has also added four touchdowns as a runner, his performances putting him at least in the MVP conversation with the Colts tied for the best record in football.
But Jones is paying little mind to such talk.

Jones not focused on MVP hype
The Colts face the 4-2 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday in what will be an intriguing test of his credentials as an MVP candidate.
Yet asked about what it means to be at least in the discussion, Jones replied: "Not much after six weeks.

"We've got a long way to go. I’ve really enjoyed playing with these guys, I think we’ve got a lot of talented players across the board, and just trying to do my part in that.
"Still a long way to go. I think we all know that."
